I don't care what Snivellus believes. He was probably right there cheering Voldemort on as he tried to kill a baby. I never would have betrayed James. I was an idiot for thinking Peter held him in the same regard. You can't hurt me with those words any more than I've already hurt myself with them. It's only the truth. I got my best friend killed.

Because the Barge loves to bring completely penitent people here. There's no reason to. It just wants to see how people react.

You were baiting me and asking me about my wand. You were probably piping that information straight to him. You pretended you didn't know the first thing about me, yet he's obviously told you things. I'm sure he's managed to fill in the blanks with his own prejudices, which you have greedily gulped up.

Actually he was completely for you getting your wand back. I told him not to push for it if he didn't like you so much. See, before he made a policy of it with me, all magicians on this ship were pretty much stripped of all their useful powers and he's the only one with the sense to realize we're just going to use it again once we get out of here.

If he wanted me to have my wand back [because he's not quite sure he can actually believe that], it's only because he's hoping I'll do something stupid with it. But he does have a point on the rest. [Yes, he can admit when Severus Snape has a point. Because he only has one every three thousand years or so.] It's terribly easy to behave when you're as threatening as a neutered sheep.
